Biography :
Originally from the old steel town of Bethlehem, PA. Craig went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps as an intelligence and communications operator with the 4th FSSG, Det. 2 Comm. Company and 2nd Force Reconnaissance Battalion, Craig served for over 7 years with the Marines before being honorably discharged. Upon leaving the military, Craig began work with Verizon Wireless at their headquarters office in Bedminster, NJ. Craig has been involved in the world of wireless technology since before smart phones; having a thorough knowledge and understanding of how the networks provide the pathway and backbone to support the applications and devices we use today. In May 2007, Craig began Basecamp Networks; a technology firm dedicated to simplifying the implementation of new technology and new methodologies of how we apply technology to work. Since then, Basecamp Networks has monitored, managed, and updated networks for hundreds of organizations around the globe. Basecamp Networks is recognized by such partners as Cisco Meraki, and Google. Craig Ganssle has been a Google Project Glass Explorer since July of 2013, presenting use cases and designing applications for wearable technology in multiple industry verticals; specifically Agriculture and Retail. Basecamp Networks was the first company to bring wearable applications to Ag, including a patent on handsfree crop scouting with wearable technology.
