Biography:
Dr. Nathan Slaton is Professor and Director of Soil Testing for the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture (UADA). Dr. Slaton teaches Soil Fertility in the Crop, Soil, and Environmental Sciences Department, conducts research, and coordinates the UADA Soil Testing Program. The focus of Dr Slatons research program includes correlation and calibration of crop response to soil nutrient availability indices, evaluation of enhanced efficiency fertilizers and fertilizer additives, and other aspects of applied agronomic nutrient management. Dr. Slaton holds a B.S. degree from Murray State University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Arkansas.
